Necropolis is the undead faction in Heroes3, wielding the power of death and necromancy. Its units include Skeletons, Walking Dead, Wights, Vampires, Liches, Black Knights, and Bone Dragons. Necropolis heroes are Death Knights (might) and Necromancers (magic), with the unique Necromancy skill that raises fallen enemies as Skeletons. This snowball mechanic makes Necropolis extremely powerful in the late game and a top-tier competitive faction in HoMM3.
